After I released 'The Midnight Sun Chronicles" I promised myself that I wouldn't go back and tinker with any of the songs. The album version of Krell has a long, weird introduction before the actual song starts. For the "single," I cut the intro so we dive right into the song to better suit a streaming audience.

In early 1986 I bought a used Ross 4X4 four-track recorder. This is the first song I recorded with it and play all the instruments. There are alot of mistakes but I don't think I could ever match the energy in these performances.

In late 1999 I recorded a few songs at East End studio with my good friends Chase Kretzer on drums and Jaime Copenhaver on bass guitar. This is cut live with vocals in the studio and the only overdub is the lead guitar. Read more

This is cut live with vocals in the studio and the only overdub is the lead guitar. There is clearly some tape degradation from the original cassette that was only meant to be a rough mix. Sadly that is all I have left of the session.
